NHS covid 19 support:
coaching approacH
Development of a Coaching training approach plus training provision for wellbeing professionals
UXC co-developed a training approach to upskill coaches and therapists in order to support NHS needs during COVID working conditions.
To date, over 1,000 coaches have been trained.
The approach was accredited by the Association for Coaching.
the need
Because UXC has a wealth of experience and expertise within psychological services and the NHS, at the onset of Covid 19 it was clear to us that those working on the frontline would need access to a free wellbeing support service to help them cope with the demands being placed upon them.
our response
UXC helped co-design a training approach for volunteers from all areas of the coaching discipline to ensure consistency, quality and effective support for those NHS staff that needed it at this crucial time.
