Digital Solution development : Dementia assessment tool
Working with multiple stakeholders to co-lead the research and development of the dementia assessment tool, ACEmobile.
The tool has been internationally successful and widely commissioned, with numerous publications.
This project won an HSJ award for improving NHS service efficiency via Technology

the need
To address the high error rate in dementia assessments, within the NHS via a purpose built clinical eHealth solution.
Funded by the NIHR and charity sector.
our response
The project involved carrying out usability studies and the commissioning of an App’s creation, through to the international release of the product.

The App was shown to reduce error rates in clinicians by 93% (published in peer-reviewed journal) and was adopted by over 1,000 dementia services across the UK and Australia.
​
The App won an HSJ award for improving NHS efficiency with technology (2018).
